U-12 - Mastergeeha 2 Fenit 5

On Saturday in Kilbrean Park the under 12's began well and in the sixth minute went close when a Philip Casey throw to Paul O'Riordan  whose shot went narrowly wide. However  Mastergeeha were a goal down after 8th minute. In the 15th minute long throw down the line by Philip Casey to Oscar O'Connor who headed it to Matthew Keane to score on the volley for the equalizer. In the final minutes of the half a Matthew Keane ball down the wing to Paul O'Riordan who scored an excellent gaol from an impossible angle. In the second half and on the break Fenit got two goals to take the lead. Mastergeeha pushed forward for the equalizer and a Jamie O'Donoghue through ball to Padraig Desmond ended up been well saved by the Fenit goalkeeper. In the last few minutes Fenit got two more goals. Overall the score did not reflect the game and Mastergeeha deserved to be closer at the end.
