Past - Mastergeeha 1 Ballyhar 0

The highlight of the day saw a selection past Mastergeeha players take on a Ballyhar team. The Mastergeeha team with lots of past greats started well, creating a number of chances early in the first half. Just before the break they took the lead with a well-worked goal. In the second half Ballyhar attacked with more but the home side stood firm to record a famous victory on a special day. Afterward all returned to the clubhouse for light refreshments and reminisce about old times. Special thanks to players who attended and togged out on the day to make this an occasion to remember. Also thanks to Ronan O Sullivan for the enjoyable commentary on the match.

Later all gathered at The Village Inn for the BBQ and music. Joint manager for the day Donie O Connor presented some special novel awards to the players to add to the occasion. All enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, recalling the events of the day and past times. Thanks to all who attended and supported throughout the day.
