On September 5th, 6th and 7th the Kerry District League hosted a Senior Introductory Coaching course at Mounthawk Park, Tralee. Over 20 coaches from across the county, including our own Conor Doolan attended this impressive course aimed at improving junior soccer standards in Ireland. During the weekend coaches were given tasks to plan, warm ups and organise drills for the rest of the participants to take part in. These individual and group activities were analysed by the F.A.I Tutors as well as the coaches involved. Topics discussed during the course ranged from training session planning to how players with disabilities can be included within the F.A.I.

The development officer for Kerry, Darren Aherne has to be commended for the success of this course and he is hoping to organise a review of this course and he is hoping to organise a review of this course with all those who participated in the near future.
