In the opening half the seniors both sides created good scoring chances with David Fleming going close for the home side. Towards the end of the half Mastergeeha Goal keeper Brian Devane made an excellent save to leave the score nil all at the break. In  the second half Mastergeeha up the paced and created more scoring chances with David Fleming and Colm Guilfoyle going close. In the 55th minute the seniors took the lead when Micheal O Shea finished well following some good build up play. However through a defensive lapse Balloonagh equalised with 15 minutes remaining. Mastergeeha again pushed forward and were rewarded when Paul Kelliher scored to give the team a deserved victory.
