Mastergeeha faced a strong Tralee side in the Sunday afternoon game in Kilbrean Park. In the opening half no side created clear chances until Mastregeeha took the lead in the 35 min when Ronan O Sulliavn finished to the net following a headed cross by John O Callaghan. However just before half time SBR were back on even terms. The visitors opened the second half the stronger and scored following a poor clearance from defence. In the 55 min Mastergeeha were lucky not to go two down only for a goal mouth clearance by Paul Lenihan. In the later stages of the game the home side pushed forward in serach of the equaliser. In 80 min Flor O Sullivan was fouled on the edge of the box and Micheal O Shea scored directly to the to corner with a well taken shot to give the team a deserved draw.
