Clare side, our U-12’s gave a excellent team performance. In the opening 20 minutes both sides went close with Phillip Casey clearing the ball off the line for the home side. Shortly after a Paul O’Riordan pass sent Padraig Desmond got through to score the lead goal. Towards the end of the first half a Matthew Keane free kick near the corner flag found Paul O’Riordan at the back post who slotted the ball into the net. In the second half a well struck Matthew Keane free kick made the score 3-0. The visitors then pulled one back from a penalty. Mastergeeha was scored again to make sure of the win when a Matthew Keane cross to the front post was controlled and scored by Kevin Leader. This was a good win for the team with an excellent display was given by all the players.
