Shannonside 0 Mastergeeha 3

In a tough first round match in Limerick the U14s recorded a good victory. In the opening half both teams created some good chances with Mastergeeha goalkeeper Donal Leader making some good saves. With 2 minutes remaining in the half Mastergeeha took the lead when following some good play in midfield Killian O Connor scored. The second half started in the same fashion as the first each side having shots on target but no change to the score. Mid way through the half Mastergeeha scored again through Killian O Connor. In the closing stages of the match the boys made sure of the win when Padraig Collins chipped over the goalkeeper to leave the score 3-0 at the final whistle. All involved played well.
