U-12's draw to Listowel

Mastergeeha U12 played their final premier league game of the season in Kilbrean Park last Saturday.  Listowel started the stronger and were 1-0 up early in the first half.  In the second half Mastergeeha pushed forward in search of the equalizer.  They went close to scoring when Sean O’ Sullivan crossed for Philip Casey whose header went just wide.  Shortly after good interplay by Derek and Damien Breen seen the visitors goalkeeper making an excellent save.  However Mastergeeha were caught on the break when Listowel scored a second.  Following some good passing by the boys the ball was played through to Kelvin Teahan who rounded the keeper well to score.  In the closing stages Mastergeeha scored the equalizer when Derek Breen’s long range shot finished in the net.  Team: Jamie O’Donoghue, Cormac Kennelly, Daniel Moynihan, Antony Magnier, Shane Moyihan, Matthew Keane, Derek Breen, Philip Casey, Damien Breen, Padraig Gleeson, Sean O’Sullivan.  Subs Kelvin Teahan, Paul O’Riordan.
