4/2/08 U13s in top of the table clash MASTERGEEHA: Mastergeeha V Dingle U13 - Two weeks ago we played Dingle at home and we won 5-4. This was one of our toughest games so far this year or so we thought. Saturday 2nd Feb in Dingles home pitch and the weather was bitter cold Dingle once again started well with a free kick that went straight into the top of our net not touching anybody else, this was an indirect free kick not direct and the ref would not change his mind so the goal stood. Dingle did not hold the lead for long a pass down the wing from Jack Cahill to Ciarán Doolan and he put a lovely ball through to Padraig Collins and once again Padraig finished superbly. One all at the half. Second half even with the wind at our back we could not get a good break anywhere and again Dingle got a second goal from a very obvious off side. Its now 2-1 to Dingle and time ticking away. Jack Cahill was fouled 30 yards out to the right near the sideline. Daragh McCarthy took a massive strike and found the net, a great strike. Last six minutes both teams tried hard to get a winner and it nearly came for our lads, another free from Daragh McCarthy skinned the post wide, so that was it 2-2 draw, another tough game, another point and still top of division one. Daragh McCarthy Man of the Match
