Mastergeeha 0 Asdee 0
In the final league fixture of the season the U12s competed well with a physically strong North Kerry side in Kilbren Park. In an even opening half both sides created some chances but both defences stood firm with Mastergeeha keeper making a good save in the 25th minute. In second half both had chances cleared off the line with Paul O Riordan, Matthew Keane going close for the home side. As always Philip Casey was excellent in defence with a draw being a fair result.
U14
Clanmaurice 1 Mastergeeha 5
Mastergeeha got the better of Clanmaurice in the last league played in Tralee on Saturday. Mastergeeha started slowly going a goal behind in the 10th minute. However the team upped their performance from then on and got the deserved victory on the day. Padraig Collins, Anthony O Connor, Cory Mitchell, Killian O Connor and Thomas O Keffee all scored on the day.
U15 Cup Semi Final
Mastergeeha 1 Killarney Athletic 1 (4-2 on penalties)
Mastergeeha qualified for the final of the U15 cup last Wednesday evening following a tough and closer encounter with near neighbours Killarney Athletic. In normal time both teams were level at 1-1 with Enda Sullivan getting the goal for the home side. With no further scoring in the extra time the teams faced the penalty shoot out. Mastergeeha came out on top winning 4-2. On the night all played well for Mastergeeha and the boys deserved to qualify for the final. Final – 23rd May vs Kingdom Boys at Ballyhar.
