Premier B – Mastergeeha 1 Qpr 1
This first local derby of the new season was a tough encounter with a draw a fair result. In the opening half Mastergeeha played the better soccer with Chris Egan, and Alan Moynihan going close. However in the 33rd minute Qpr took the lead following a defensive mistake. In the second half Mastergeeha pushed forward creating some half chances. In the final quarter of the game with the introduction of substitutes Mastergeeha got the equaliser following a good team move.

This clash in Mounthawk Park on Sunday afternoon between last years promoted side ended in a draw. Both sides created chances but defence stood firm to gain a point each.Sunday 4th Oct. 2009
Mastergeeha 1 Castlegregory 0
The seniors recorded their first win in the premier on Sunday last. Early in the first half Mikey O Shea was taken down for a penalty which Kevin Bruton scored.

Premier B - Mastergeeha 2 Sneem 2
The seniors kicked off the season in the premier with a draw at home last Sunday. Robert Casey scored with a header from a corner in the opening half (1-1 at half time). In the second half Mike Murphy put the team 2-1 up with a well struck penalty however in the closing stages Sneem scored the equaliser.
