U11 - Div 1 South Killarney Celtic 0 Mastergeeha 4
Mastergeeha continued on their winning ways in the league with a victory over close rivals last weekend. The boys started well with Kieran O Connor scoring in the 10th minute following a free kick by Paudie O Connor. Just before the break Mastergeeha were two up when Gearoid Kerins scored following a good passing move. The boys continued to dominate in the second half with Gearoid Kerins and Glen Vaughan adding further goals.
Premier U-14 - Killorglin 3 Mastergeeha 2
In Killorglin on Saturday Mastergeeha took the lead in the 15th minutes when the ball was played to Damien Breen who crossed well for Darren O'Connor to finish to the net. Just before the break Killorglin equalised. In the second half Killorglin went ahead but Mastergeeha responded well when Damien Breen was fouled outside the box. Brother Derek Breen quick thinking on the free kick resulted in him scoring direct. However in the last five minutes Killorglin scored the winning on the counter attack. Premier B - Mastergeeha 0 Ballyhar 0
This local derby was a close and tough encounter. In the first half both defences stood firm with very few scoring chances for each team. In the second half Mastergeeha created the better chances with Colm Lenihan, Aidan Kerins and Mike Murphy going close for the home side.
Div 2 Balloonagh 0 Mastergeeha 2
The seniors had a good victory away in Tralee on Sunday. Brian Fleming and David Fleming got the goals in this deserved victory
