U12 Mastergeeha 2 Kingdom Boys 2
This game at home on Saturday morning saw the U12 get a deserved draw aginst table toppers Kingdom Boys. The boys started slowly after the extended break with Kingdom Boys creating a number of chances only for the defence to stand firm with Denis Ring doing well in goals. However mid way through the half the Tralee side took the lead following a poor clearance. In the second half Mastergeeha boys started to play the better soccer and pushed forward in search of the equaliser going close through Oscar O Connor. In spite of this Kingdom boys scored again on the break. The boys again upped the pace and were rewarded with 10 minutes remaining when Aiden Kelly scored following some good outfield play. For the remainder of the game Mastergeeha pressured the visitor’s goal and got their reward when Thomas Fleming scored the equaliser with 2 minutes remaining for a deserved draw.
